Hey, remember when Jennifer Grey won Dancing With the Stars Season 11 over Kyle Massey and Bristol Palin? More than 24 million of us watched that showdown. Good times. But it sounds like a quarter of those viewers skipped the Season 13 match between J.R. Martinez, Rob Kardashian and Ricki Lake.
According to Entertainment Weekly’s early ratings report, Tuesday’s two-hour Season 13 finale Results Show posted a 4.1 rating/11 share, down 23 percent from last fall’s Season 11 finale and averaging only 19.4 million viewers.
And here we thought DWTS seasons were like potato chips — you can’t have just one. We’re addicted, so where did all the other viewers go? Did the idea of Bristol winning really bring that many rubber-neckers to the show … and none of them felt like doing the same for a Kardashian?
Gee I wonder why? It's because viewers were so pissed that a certain dancer's mother had a hand in rigging the voting that they vowed to never watch again. I know cuz I'm one of them.
