A gracious winner, President Obama had Mitt Romney over to the White House for lunch yesterday

Unfortunately we will never know what they talked about, because no media was allowed.

I have to admit President Obama is a much more gracious winner than I would ever be.  That's why I admire him so.

I do hope President Obama gets in a few digs, but I know it will not happen.

Dumbya Bush never invited John Kerry to the WH after 2004.  Guess he felt pangs of guilt for stealing the election from him.

And I cannot see Sarah Palin doing that either.  Or John McCain.

Speaking of Granny Grifter, I wonder when she will have a Fecebook post up asking why she didn't get invited to lunch in 2008.

Cigna insurance stocks performance 2013

Best Insurance Stocks today - Cigna insurance stocks performance 2013 : Health insurer Cigna Corp said that it expects 2013 earnings growth of 4 to 9 percent, below its average long-term forecasts as it confronts U.S. unemployment in the high-single digits, limited wage growth and a gradual rise in the use of medical services.

Cigna's outlook followed up on comments earlier this month from its executives about the "headwinds" expected in the coming year, as the company prepares for more aspects of U.S. healthcare reform to take hold.

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, passed in 2010, includes a variety of changes and regulations that affect insurers, many of which will kick in by 2014.

Cigna President David Cordani said he does not expect the adoption of health exchanges among individuals and small companies in the next two years to hurt Cigna because it does not have a lot of those groups among its customers.

Chief Financial Officer Ralph Nicoletti told investors and analysts at a meeting on Friday that it expects total revenue will likely rise to a range of $31.5 billion to $32.5 billion next year. That is above analyst expectations of $29.3 billion revenue in 2013.

Revenue will grow across the company and its international business, which includes operations in Turkey and India, would increase the most at more than 20 percent.

Earnings per share will rise to a range of $5.80 to $6.25, excluding items, he said. Analysts were forecasting earnings of $6.32 per share ahead of the meeting. It was not immediately clear if those two figures were on the same basis.

Cigna is in a strong position to see growth in its international and commercial healthcare coverage, according to BMO Capital, a financial services company that provides clients from businesses and government’s access to a wide variety of services and products. BMO believes that some of the most important parts of the health insurance providers business are also strengthening.

Furthermore, the company’s stock prices are also projected to increase, as analyst Dave Shove increased his 12-month anticipation for the price of the company’s stock from USD $60 to $65.

Earlier this month at its annual investor day presentation, Cigna Corp released their projections for 2013, with adjusted earnings of about USD $5.80 to $6.25 per share. These figures are lower and more conservative than average expectations from other analysts, which set expectations at about USD $6.33 on average, according to FactSet, a multinational financial data and software company.

Many reasons for the optimistic outlooks relate to Cigna’s strong portfolio of product offerings when compared to competitors. The company has a strong presence in the United States, which Shove says will remain a core aspect of the company’s focus. However, their overseas business is also growing through the sales of individual insurance and expatriate policies that offer coverage to people who live outside their home countries.

In addition to the company’s overseas potential, operating expenses overseas are also decreasing, making it easier for Cigna to continue expanding internationally.

Goldman Sachs analyst Matthew Borsch wrote in a research note that the company was conservative in its estimates for 2013. He also decreased his projection for a 12-month price target by USD $2 to $56 and Cigna’s forecast was also below Leerink Swann analyst, Jason Gurda’s estimate of $6.30 per share.

“We came away (from Friday’s presentation) increasingly confident in the company’s diversified growth drivers and ability to successfully navigate the industry changes that are scheduled to occur over the next couple years,” he wrote.

Positive results for Cigna then, 2013 will hopefully go as expected and offer promise to its policyholders in the new year.

Zurich Insurance stock performance 2013

Best insurance stocks today - Zurich Insurance stock performance 2013 ; Zurich Insurance Group AG (ZURN), Switzerland’s biggest insurer, said it is making “good progress” to achieving targets for 2013 and expects to pay an “attractive” dividend.

The company, which is holding an investor day in Zurich, has cut costs by $200 million as it targets expense reductions in “mature markets” of $500 million by the end of next year, the insurer said today in an e-mailed statement.

Chief Executive Officer Martin Senn said he’s confident that Zurich Insurance’s cash flows and capital position will allow an “attractive and sustainable dividend.” The insurer may raise the dividend for 2012 to 17.50 francs ($18.85), according to data compiled by Bloomberg, after leaving the 2011 payout unchanged at an 11-year high of 17 francs a share.

The statement “should provide the market with reassurance on the high dividend paying capacity,” said Stefan Schuermann, a Zurich-based analyst with Vontobel Holding AG who has a hold rating on the stock.

The stock rose 1.8 percent to 234.90 francs as of 9:45 a.m. in Zurich trading, giving the company a market value of 34.8 billion francs. Zurich Insurance has increased 11 percent this year, lagging behind the Bloomberg Europe 500 Insurance Index (BEINSUR)’s 28 percent gain.

While the insurer is targeting a business operating profit after tax return on equity of 16 percent in the long term, Zurich Insurance reiterated today that in the current environment, a goal of 2 percentage points below that is more realistic.

Zurich Insurance reported a 62 percent decline in third- quarter profit earlier this month following a $550 million write-off at its German general insurance business.

Bristol Palin should be thanking President Obama and the Democrats for the reduction in abortions

From Brancy's blog

When I got pregnant, I was only 17 and pretty scared. In other words, I feel compassion for people who are experiencing unplanned pregnancies and who are dealing with issues they’ve never had to consider. I wrote about the moment I realized I was pregnant in my book “Not Afraid of Life:”

Of course, you know the rest of the story. I know I did the right thing in having Tripp, and it looks like many other people are deciding to have their babies too!

On Wednesday, the CDC announced that abortion rates have decline 5%. What a wonderful development – it was a great thing to find out during Thanksgiving Week!

How convenient of you Bristol to leave out the part that the CDC credits sex education and access to birth control as the reason for the abortion rates going down.  I for one am glad too the abortion rates are going down.  Abortions go down when there is a pro-choice presidential administration.  President Obama respects a women's right to choose and wants women to have access to birth control so they will not have to have an abortion.

He also agrees abstinence only education does not work, which leads to more abortions.  If anything President Obama is one of the most pro-life presidents I have ever seen.

Speaking of abstinence, you and your family have no right to talk about it.

Chuckles and Sally were in the family way before marriage

Sarah and Todd were in the family way before marriage

You had Tripp out of wedlock

Molly and Mike were in the family way before marriage

Track and Britta were in the family way before marriage

Willow has had at least one pregnancy scare

Chuckles Jr's divorce was finalized in May 2011 then him and his new wife had a baby November 2011. Just learned about that on IM.

Bristol you have been underneath more men than a toilet in a public restroom.  Let's see the count:

Johnny Chandler

Dylan Klovig

Levi Johnston

Ben Barber

Kyle Massey

Gino Paoletti

So shut the fuck up!

We all need a break from politics today

I thought I would post some feel good songs today from the 20's and 30'.  I started listening to Ted Lewis, Louis Armstrong,  Ben Selvin, and Marion Harris about a year ago and I have to admit I've become fond of this era.  Enjoy!

Seems I started a bit of a controversy

On Saturday regarding my post about Sarah Palin possibly having syphilis.

I have no idea if she does but on some of the other blogs people have commented that she might have it due to her mental illness.  I figured why not make a post about it.

I do not apologize for my post.  I will not apologize because speculating over whether or not Sarah Palin has an STD is not cruel compared to what she has done:

Harassed her ex-brother in law and disparaged him in front of his kids.  Todd did the same.

Tried to force rape victims to pay for their rape kits.

Came between Levi and Bristol and slammed him publicly for being Ricky Hollywood while Bristol was trying to be Bristol Hollywood.

Never showed any remorse for the Tucson shooting victims.

Never called Gabby Giffords to apologize.

Used Trig as a prop numerous times.

Used Brancy as a surrogate to slam President Obama's children.

Threw everyone that ever helped her under the bus...John McCain, John Stein, Steve Schmidt, Nicolle Wallace.

If the Wild Ride story is true, then that is child abuse regarding Trig.

Let the residents of Emmonack fend for themselves during the bad winter of 2009.

May have set Sherry Johnston on drug charges.

May have killed Curtis Menard Jr.

May have had Dar Miller killed.

Bullied her neighbors.

Single handedly tried to ruin health care reform legislation with her "death panel" lies.  Legislation which will save thousands of lives.

It would also be very hypocritical of Sarah to promote family values and abstinence while being treated for an STD.  If she does have syphilis I imagine she came down with it after giving birth to Piper, cuz all the kids she gave birth to seem healthy.

And the one poster who said they may not come back, that is your perogative.  No one is forcing you to visit this blog.

Does Sar ah Palin have syphillis?

From the CDC

What are the symptoms in adults?

Primary Stage

The appearance of a single sore marks the first (primary) stage of syphilis symptoms, but there may be multiple sores. The sore appears at the location where syphilis entered the body. The sore is usually firm, round, and painless. Because the sore is painless, it can easily go unnoticed.  The sore lasts 3 to 6 weeks and heals regardless of whether or not a person is treated. However, if the infected person does not receive adequate treatment the infection progresses to the secondary stage.

Sarah has had sores around her mouth.  Too much blow-jobbing perhaps?

 Secondary Stage

Skin rashes and/or sores in the mouth, vagina, or anus (also called mucous membrane lesions ) mark the secondary stage of symptoms. This stage usually starts with a rash on one or more areas of the body. Rashes associated with secondary syphilis can appear from the time when the primary sore is healing to several weeks after the sore has healed. The rash usually does not cause itching. This rash may appear as rough, red, or reddish brown spots both on the palms of the hands and/or the bottoms of the feet. However, this rash may look different on other parts of the body and can look like rashes caused by other diseases.

Large, raised, gray or white lesions may develop in warm, moist areas such as the mouth, underarm or groin region. Sometimes rashes associated with secondary syphilis are so faint that they are not noticed. Other symptoms of secondary syphilis include fever, swollen lymph glands, sore throat, patchy hair loss, headaches, weight loss, muscle aches, and fatigue. The symptoms of secondary syphilis will go away with or without treatment. Without appropriate treatment, the infection will progress to the latent and possibly late stages of disease.

Sarah's hairdresser said she had hair loss.  Note Sarah has been looking very thin lately as well.

Late and Latent Stages

The latent (hidden) stage of syphilis begins when primary and secondary symptoms disappear. Without treatment, the infected person can continue to have syphilis in their body even though there are no signs or symptoms. This latent stage can last for years.

About 15% of people who have not been treated for syphilis develop late stage syphilis, which can appear 10–30 years after infection began. Symptoms of the late stage of syphilis include difficulty coordinating muscle movements, paralysis, numbness, gradual blindness, and dementia. In the late stages of syphilis, the disease damages the internal organs, including the brain, nerves, eyes, heart, blood vessels, liver, bones, and joints. This damage can result in death.

Sarah's tongue twitching, and she is getting crazier by the day.

What is your diagnosis readers?

So Sarah is writing a fitness book?

From the Examiner

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin is writing a fitness book where she'll detail her age-defying diet and workout secrets.

Palin made the surprise revelation to People in response to questions over her shocking recent weight loss. Sarah, 48, raised eyebrows after sporting a dramatically thinner figure in Los Angeles on Oct 8.

"Our family is writing a book on fitness and self-discipline focusing on where we get our energy and balance as we still eat our beloved homemade comfort foods," said Palin, who didn't say whether she has a book contract yet or when it will be published.

"We promise you what we do works and allows a fulfilling quality of life and sustenance anyone can enjoy."
Palin, a mother of five, is a longtime runner who follows a high-protein, low-carb diet. "Conventional running is my sanity," Sarah told Runner's World in 2009. For most of her adult life, Sarah ran 5-10 miles almost every day, except during her pregnancies, when she switched to aerobic classes.

"My family and I eat a healthy diet heavy in wild Alaskan seafood, moose, caribou and fresh fruit," said Palin in 2010.

"My biggest pitfall is breakfast. I know it's the most important meal of the day but I still haven't bought into it. I hate to admit it, but a skinny white-chocolate mocha is my staple in the morning."

Despite her own strict workout and diet regimen, Palin has slammed First Lady Michelle Obama's "Let's Move" anti-obesity program as an example of the Obamas trying to take away Americans' "God-given rights to make our own decisions."

Sarah quipped: "Instead of a government thinking that they need to take over and make decisions for us according to some politician or politician's wife priorities, just leave us alone. Get off our back!"

Childhood obesity, which has tripled in the last 30 years, continues to skyrocket. According to the Associated Press, one in 3 American children is overweight or obese, putting them at higher risk of diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and other illnesses.

Another lie by Sarah.

Either she is anorexic or she has a drug problem.  See for yourself:

I just tried to call you to give you an update on another contact from Lisa Demer. She wanted to know the exact date that Bristol lelt West. I refused to give that to her based on the Family Rights Act, FERPA, that governs student records. I told her our attorney advised me not to give her any more information than I did before (I told her that Bristol enrolled January 7, 2008 and withdrew May 7, 2008. She was frustrated but I told her I could not give any more information to her without parental consent. I don’t know if she will try and get the info another way, but I did want you and the governor to know. Carol

Thank you Bristol Palin for letting Tripp meet his new baby sister

Tripp has always resembled Heath relatives. When he was around 1, he looked just like Heather, who looks like her father. And Todd's family has traces of blue eyes (Jim and Todd). Tripp also looks a lot like his cousin Kyla, who is fairer, though she has hazel eyes (Track was fairer, and Tripp also kind of looks like Track at points in his life. I will say that even though Levi was fairer headed, he was never white blond like Tripp is. Genetics are amazing.
Eye color changes constantly in some people, as does hair. I would imagine Tripp will have darker hair once he's a preteen. I had white blond hair and now have extremely dark/slightly red hair.
I see Bristol's eye shape and lips in Tripp, and Levi's facial shape.

Why do a bunch of stranger who don't know these people even care? It's not like outsider ignorant opinion changes anything about another person's life.

He certainly loves babies. Every picture I've seen of him holding one he's beaming. Like mother, like son. I think Bristol was finishing up AZ business, like selling the car she bought down there earlier, before she headed back to Alaska. Trust me, she was desperate to get back, if not just to meet her cousin's new born, born in mid October.

He certainly loves babies. Every picture I've seen of him holding one he's beaming. Bristol's probably loving being home, if not just so she can see her cousin's newborn everyday (born mid October). I think she was waiting to sell the car she bought down south.

An open letter to Kristy aka Krusty Patullo

Krusty,

Why are you so obsessed with Sarah and Bristol Palin?

You have never met them and probably never will.  You live with your mother in Rhode Island and the Palins hate Easterners and highly unlikely they will ever visit the East Coast.  Since you are so mentally unstable you will probably never leave Rhode Island.

Did you meet Sarah at a campaign event or book signing?  If so that does not count.  You once said your only goal in life is to meet Bristol and Tripp.  Sorry not gonna happen!

You accuse me, other bloggers, and posters of judging people we do not know, being hateful, and having sad lives.  It's called projection.  You defend a family you do not know, bash people you do not know.

Also I see you posted Levi and Sunny's wedding pictures on your blog and criticized them.  You do not know them either, so STFU!

Speaking of your blog, the Palins have sent a C&D letter to you but you keep doing it anyway.  Why is that?   They want you to leave them alone.  Alone.  You are not helping their cause.

In one of your recent rants you said you were a product of rape.  Is that really true?  Is that why you are the way you are?   Did your parents divorce because of it because there was no mention of your mother in your dad's obit.  Sorry if I hit a nerve here but if that is the case you need therapy to get over it.

Your siblings say you have marketable skills and are very educated.  So why do you sit at home all day everyday defending the Palins?  Get a job, even a job at Wal-Mart is much more productive.  They don't want to have much to do with you either.  When your dad died all you did was sit at your computer while they were grieving and making final arrangements.  Sad.

Get a life Krusty.  I only pity you.

SPHASH

Projection much Sarah Palin?

From Sarah's Fecebook

Who is running our country? We've got a CIA Director sharing security info with his mistress using an unsecure gmail account. We've got the delusional Susan Rice blaming the death of an ambassador on a Youtube video. We've got Iran firing on one of our drones a week before the election. We've got the White House either ignorant of or covering up all of this. Who is minding the store? Everywhere we
look we see the rank incompetence or corruption of the people who are supposedly running our country and our major institutions. Let's hope that responsible reporters at Obama's press conference today ask the right questions Americans deserve answers to.

Here's my question for the president: As our nation's chief executive you claim to be unaware of the most important and tragic situations we're facing; so, as a former chief executive, I'd like to know how long it takes for your staff to tell you things like: "Sir, your CIA Director is under investigation"?

- Sarah Palin

Oh Sarah when are you ever going to learn?

You used an unreliable yahoo account during your half term as governor.  And a young man named David Kernell was able to guess your password.  You even CC'ed your husband on those e-mails too!

Speaking of incompetence,  what about the people you hired for your administration?  Your high school BFF's.  None of them were qualified.

Susan Rice is very competent.  She has degrees from Stanford and Oxford.  You on the other hand have a degree in bullshit that took 5 years and 5 different schools to accomplish.

Here are her credentials courtesy of  Wikipedia

Rice was a foreign policy aide to Michael Dukakis during the 1988 presidential election. She was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, the global management consulting firm, in the early 1990s.[16] Rice worked in McKinsey's Toronto office for a time

Rice served in the Clinton administration in various capacities: at the National Security Council from 1993 to 1997; as Director for International Organizations and Peacekeeping from 1993 to 1995; and as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for African Affairs from 1995 to 1997.
On December 1, 2008, Rice was nominated by President-elect Obama to be the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations,[30][31] a position which he also upgraded to cabinet level.[32] Rice is the second youngest[32] and first African American woman US Representative to the UN.

Guess you were just looking for some attention.  Grow up.

PS You and Susan were born the same year and she is not even a grandmother yet.

Update on Turkey of the year

There is about five days to vote for Turkey of the Year.  I posted some polls so everyone can vote.  Thanks!

I wasn't going to talk about Mitt the Shit anymore but after seeing this I had no choice

From MSNBC

Mitt is blaming President Obama for offering gifts to voters?  WTF?  First you have Karl Rove blaming voter suppression, then Rush Limbaugh blaming Hurricane Sandy now this.

Mitt I can give you several reasons why you lost

1.You tried to be everything to everybody

2.You insult 47% of the population

3.You are condescending to women and want to control their bodies

4.You flip flop more often than I change my underwear

5.You admit you like to fire people

6.You lie constantly

7.You turned Hurricane Sandy into a political event

8.Your wife is a self-entitled bitch

9.You are a self-entitled asshole

10.You refused to release your tax records

Your running mate Paul Ryan even said President Obama won fair and square.  Why can't you admit that?  Bobby Jindal rejected your comments.

You have two options...act like John McCain who was upbeat the day after the election, or be like Sarah Palin, who pouts and mopes around and accuses Obama of cheating.  I guess you want to act like a middle school child.

Dave Parker of the Anchorage APD is retiring at the end of the year

From the Anchorage Daily News

From Kyle Hopkins in Anchorage --
Some Alaskans see this guy on TV more often than they see their own parents. His name has appeared in nearly 600 Daily News stories since 2008 -- Sarah Palin territory. One time he Tasered a bear.

Omnipresent Anchorage police spokesman Lt. Dave Parker said Friday he’s retiring at the end of the year. “I put in my papers today,” he said.

Parker is an ordained preacher and, unlike spokespeople at many police departments, a badge-carrying cop. His last day will be Dec. 31.

If I worked at a local TV station, I’d be piecing that blooper reel together now.

As you all should know Parker helped sweep Todd's involvement with the hooker ring under the rug.  He had a hand in harassing Shailey Tripp who has spoken out against the Palins.

Now with Sean Parnell turning up the heat on sex trafficking in Alaska, Parker must have decided to bail out now.

Thank you Bristol Palin for finally letting Tripp meet his new baby sister

The three of them look so adorable.  This picture was posted on Levi and Sunny's Facebook pages.

Tripp looks like he will be turning five soon.  He looks 100% Bristol and 0% Levi.  Hmmm.

Anyway Tripp enjoy your new little sister sweetie!

Why did Eric Cantor know of the Petraeus affair before President Obama?

From CNN.com

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor knew in October about former CIA Director David Petraeus' involvement in an extramarital affair, a spokesman for the congressman told CNN on Sunday.
Doug Heye said Cantor, a Republican, was tipped to the information by an FBI employee. The congressman had a conversation with the official, described as a whistle-blower, about the affair and national security concerns involved in the matter, he said.

The New York Times reported Saturday that on October 31, Cantor's chief of staff phoned the FBI to inform the agency about the call between the congressman and the FBI official. The Times reported that Cantor learned of the whistle-blower through Rep. Dave Reichert, R-Washington.

A spokeswoman for Reichert told CNN on Sunday that the Times article was accurate but that the congressman had no further comment on his involvement in the case.

Petraeus resigned from the CIA on Friday after acknowledging the affair. He told Director of National Intelligence James Clapper about the situation on November 6, according to a senior U.S. intelligence official. Clapper then advised Petraeus to resign, the official said.
Petraeus' affair came to light when an FBI investigation looked into a complaint that his biographer, Paula Broadwell, was sending harassing e-mails to another woman close to the retired four-star general, a U.S. official told CNN on Saturday.

During the investigation, other communications surfaced between Petraeus and Broadwell, a married mother of two, according to the official.

A U.S. official said Sunday that Petraeus used a personal account to e-mail Broadwell and not his CIA account.

CNN has not been able to reach Broadwell for comment.

The official did not identify the woman who made the initial complaint and did not know the nature of her relationship with Petraeus.

The FBI interviewed Petraeus, said the official, who stressed that the CIA director was never the target of the investigation and his communications were never compromised. The official did not know whether Broadwell was interviewed.

The official could not say if the investigation is still ongoing. The Times reported that the investigation had already begun by the time Cantor talked with the whistle-blower.
Questions have arisen about why congressional leaders were not informed of the investigation immediately.

According to a congressional aide familiar with the matter, the House and Senate intelligence committees weren't informed that there was an FBI investigation into the situation until Friday.
"The committees are required to be kept informed of significant intelligence activities," the aide said Saturday. "If there was an official investigation that was looking, at least in part, at information that was compromising the CIA director, then I think there's a solid argument to say that the committee leadership should have been notified to at least some level of detail."

Petraeus' resignation comes days before he was scheduled to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee about the September 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. The attack, in which four Americans were killed, became a point of contention during the presidential campaign.
Some have even suggested that the timing of Petraeus' stepping down is suspect, given the expected grilling in Congress. Acting CIA Director Michael Morell will testify instead.

CNN has confirmed that Petraeus was in Libya recently to meet with the CIA station chief to discuss the Benghazi attack and other issues.

"It just doesn't add up," Rep. Peter King, R-New York, told CNN chief political correspondent Candy Crowley on Sunday. "You have this type of investigation. The FBI investigating e-mails, the e-mails leading to the CIA director, and taking four months to find out that the CIA director was involved. I have real questions about this. I think a timeline has to be looked at and analyzed to see what happened."

A senior U.S. official said Petraeus' departure wasn't connected to the Benghazi hearing.
"Director Petraeus' frank and forthright letter of resignation stands on its own," said the official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the topic. "Any suggestion that his departure has anything to do with criticism about Benghazi is completely baseless."

Broadwell spent a year with Petraeus in Afghanistan interviewing him for the book she co-wrote, "All In: The Education of General David Petraeus."

His resignation Friday appeared to be an abrupt end to a spectacularly successful career in public service.

"After being married for over 37 years, I showed extremely poor judgment by engaging in an extramarital affair. Such behavior is unacceptable, both as a husband and as the leader of an organization such as ours," Petraeus said in a letter to colleagues, explaining his decision to step down.

Before his nomination as CIA director, Petraeus was considered the nation's most well-known and popular military leader since Colin Powell.

He helped turn the tide against insurgents while commanding forces in Iraq and Afghanistan and literally wrote the book on counterinsurgency techniques by overseeing the development of the Army/Marine Corps Counterinsurgency Manual.

Earning praise from both sides of the political aisle, the retired four-star general took the helm of the CIA in September 2011.

Petraeus, 60, and his wife, Holly, live in Virginia. They have two adult children.

.The republican majority leader, Eric Cantor, knew about the Petraeus investigation 2 weeks before the story came out... How is this an Obama conspiracy to keep Petraeus from testifying regarding Benghazi?

President Obama needs to do some major housecleaning in the FBI, as they are pandering only to Republicans.  Eric Cantor should resign as well.

5 things to remember while looking for auto insurance leads

Are you a dealer looking for leads? Are you looking for potential clients who can help you save your sinking business? Are you in search of authentic car insurance leads? If yes, then brace up for the competition and to come up with unconventional ideas to sell yourself. Getting a lead is not very hard and an experienced dealer will certainly, somehow, extract information about a potential client. But it is really difficult to convince the potential client to buy your products or services. Particularly, in the field of insurance, people are very finicky and do a lot of research before buying a policy. You have to be really smart with your strategies and even manipulative, to an extent, in sweet-talking the person into buying from you.

So, if you are looking to generate and convert auto insurance leads, then here are a few things you must keep in mind:

i.                     Be the early bird: Once you have got hold of the information (say, contact details) about a prospective client, then do not waste even an hour. Make a call and try to explain to the person all about your business and the features and benefits you are offering. Again, you have to be very tactful since people generally hate tele-callers. Make sure to appoint someone who is skilled in his conversational skills and can easily slip into a friendly chatting mode with unknown people and unfriendly clients. The important thing is to be an early bird. Since the market is flooded with competition, you are going to face a harrowing time from your rivals. Make sure to make the call before they do!

ii.                   Make an appointment for a personal discussion: No sane person likes to make a decision about insurance and financing affairs merely on the phone. It is vital that you win his trust and confidence by arranging a personal rendezvous wherein you can furnish him with documents that will authenticate all your claims and the presence of your office. You cannot expect to get car insurance or auto finance leads converted unless you have won the person’s trust.

iii.                  Provide information about various offers: After you have bagged a few car insurance leads, you have got to ensure that you don’t let go of them. Once you have discussed the features of a certain policy and the person doesn’t show enough interest, you must bring up a fresh policy of a fresh company with different terms & conditions. It is vital to make the customer aware that you can fulfill all his requirements.

iv.                 Keeping in touch: Even if the client has expressed his wish to buy a policy from you, say, in the upcoming weeks, he may change is mind or may get a better offer from some other agent. To ensure the success of your auto insurance leads and auto finance leads, you must stay in constant touch with the person through emails, telephones, letters and texts.

v.                   Be ready to alter your plan: If needed, you must be ready to offer a special discount or a special benefit if you find that your rival may bag the deal.
