From The Daily Mail
Bristol Palin quit Hollywood and moved back home to live with her parents in Alaska.
The 20-year-old, who has a three-year-old son Tripp, claims a confrontation with a man who launched an tirade against her mother at a Los Angeles bar was the deciding factor.
The DWTS contestant was riding a mechanical bull at the Saddle Ranch on Sunset Strip in Hollywood when she was heckled by the man last September.
During the altercation, Bristol asked Stephen Hanks if he hated her mother, the Republican Party nominee for Vice President in the 2008 presidential election, because he was gay.
A video of the fight went viral prompting accusations of homophobia.
'I wasn't really into the Hollywood thing,' she told the new issue of InTouch magazine.'And [after the altercation at Saddle Ranch] I just realised I was over it and I wanted to come home.'
She also decided it was time to return home for the sake of her son.
'He's going to be starting pre-school soon, so we needed to settle into a routine,' she explained.
Bristol and Tripp are now back in Wassilla and living in an apartment under her mother's TV studio on their property.
It's great having Bristol here,' Sarah told In Touch, 'She makes good decisions and she's always thinking long-term about her and Tripp's future.'
Bristol had been living with her DWTS co-star Kyle Massey in Los Angeles after putting the Arizona home she purchased last year on the market.
But according to the National Enquirer her mother was not happy with the arrangement, reporting at time: 'Sarah is furious at Bristol for going so quickly from man to man.'
The former Alaska governor did her best to stop Bristol's relationship with Kyle from developing, and Kyle, 19, told a reporter he only kept in touch with Bristol 'every now and then' as the couple tried to keep their burgeoning romance a secret.
Mrs Palin's attempts to meddle were said to have infuriated her daughter. An insider said: 'Bristol told Sarah: 'Back off and let me lead my own life!'
But it seemed the Mama Grizzly got her way in the end as her daughter is back under her roof.
And Bristol seems to be putting down deep roots in Wassilla .
She has bought a house across the lake from her parents and is in the process of renovating it.
'It's a huge project,' she says.' But it's going to be awesome. I'll definitely be raising Tripp there!'
Bristol claims that Tripp's father is still absent from their lives: 'He's not using his visitation and he's not paying child support' she asserts.
In order to support herself Bristol is back to working as a receptionist at a dermatologist's office in Anchorage where she worked before her flirtation with Hollywood.
Bristol also told the magazine that her days as a motivational speaker and TV star are over.
She is now planning on becoming an aesthetician and opening a beauty salon with her sister Willow, 17, who is starting beauty school next year.
Don't you have to graduate from High School first in order to go to Beauty School? If so then Willow needs to get her GED, Bristol too. And if they graduate, how are they going to open their own shop, with Mommy's PAC money?
I know it's bullshit that Levi is absent from their lives. Bristol and Sarah do everything in their power to make sure Tripp does not see him.
Tripp starting pre-school? Yes he's old enough now but is Bristol really going to send him? She barely managed to graduate herself.
