Sarah Palin tries to tie oil and Christian education into a knot

From KXnet
Sarah Palin, who was a candidate for vice president when John McCain ran for president six years ago, addressed a sold-out auditorium at Williston State College this evening.
Palin was in Williston as a keynote speaker for the Trinity Christian School fall banquet.
North Dakota surpassed Alaska in oil production in March of 2012.
According to the US Energy Information Administration, Alaska produced 13 million barrels of oil in July.
In that same month North Dakota produced 34.4 million.
Palin talked about oil production and the impacts it can have on christian education.
Early in her presentation she spoke of previous time spent in North Dakota including her favorites: a UND hockey game and the Northern Lights this far 'south.'
(Sarah Palin, Former Governor of Alaska)"Driving to and from North Dakota to see our son, I remember early, early one morning, it was very dark outside, everybody's asleep in the rig and I'm at the wheel and I am shocked to look up and see these spectacular Northern Lights in North Dakota. I had no idea.
You can see the Northern lights in North Dakota and the northern half of Minnesota, but I doubt Sarah actually saw them as she is a habitual liar.  I doubt she ever saw a UND hockey game either.  She probably doesn't even know Ralph Englestad is.  BTW Ralph is the UND hockey alum who financed the building of the hockey arena UND plays at in Grand Forks.  He also was pretty controversial in collecting Nazi war memorabilia and dressing as Hitler at a birthday party.  Hey maybe Sarah does know of him!
So how can you tie oil production with Christianity?  You can't.  In the bible Jesus calls us to be stewards of the earth.  Drilling for oil is not stewardship.
