She was a failure at abstinence
She is a failure at Dancing
She is a failure at acting
She is a failure at getting an education
Now she is a failure at investing

Bristol Palin, daughter of former Alaska governor and TV personality Sarah Palin, is no longer a homeowner in Maricopa.
The third-place finisher on the popular reality TV show “Dancing with the Stars” sold her nearly 4,000-square-foot house in Cobblestone Farms for $175,000, the Pinal County Recorder’s Office has confirmed.
The house in the 4,400 block of West Sedona Trail was sold to Michael and Carrie Lipp on April 10. Calls to Michael Lipp were not immediately returned.
Nate Martinez, the real estate agent who closed the sale, is with Remax in Glendale. His office said the Lipps moved into the house shortly after it was sold.
The 3,929-square-foot home has five bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms and a three-car garage. Palin bought the house from Mike and Cindy Smith, farmers from Minot, N.D., in December 2010 for $172,000.
Mayor Anthony Smith said while he never met Bristol, he did meet her parents at an event in Phoenix.
Smith recalled that Palin had moved to Maricopa shortly after her time on “Dancing with Stars,” so she had some celebrity status. Sarah Palin may have done some of her national talk shows from Maricopa during that time, he said.
“It was a curious interest and there were some sightings of Bristol in Maricopa,” he said. “If I happened to bump into her that would be fine, but I never went out of my way to meet her. I figured she just wanted to live her life just like anybody else in Maricopa.”
A 2,112-square-foot, three bedroom, two bathroom house on the same block as Palin’s former house recently sold for $148,000, according to REALTOR.com, the official website of the National Association of Realtors.
Suzie Rotter, broker with Clear Skies Realty in Maricopa, said the new homeowners made a good buy because home prices in Maricopa are going up, and anything less than $50 a square foot is a good deal. The Palin house sold for $45 a square foot.
Soon after buying her Maricopa home, Palin gave a tour to the television show “E!”
In June, Palin moved out of Maricopa and put the house up for rent. That same month, she published a tell-all memoir, “Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far,” in which she revealed her true feelings about Levi Johnston, her former boyfriend and father of her son Tripp, and took jabs at Sen. John McCain and his family.
Sarah Palin was McCain’s vice presidential running mate in 2008.
It looks like she made about $3,000 profit but when you take out the realtor fees she probably ended up in the hole. Way to go Bristol! Obviously math is not your strong suit, but what can I expect from a high school dropout.
Me thinks she only bought the house to hide her DWTS baby and for another reason I will talk about in tomorrow's post. Stay tuned.
