OK I'm back (sort of)

Well friends it's been a while since I've  posted on a regular basis so I am going to give you an update.

I'm settled in my new city now.  I will not reveal the location of it however.  Don't need a patient from the asylum or Krusty coming after me.  The new job is going great, ableit challenging at times.  My boss and co-workers are wonderful.

On my last day of work at my previous job I got to have an exit interview, I really let the HR Manager know how I felt about the place.  All he did was defend management which I expected but it was therapeutic to get it all off my chest.

The problem with that company is that it is owned by a private equity group like Bain Capital and does everything on the cheap.  After reading all the horror stories about how Mitt ran companies into the ground I got fearful that it was going to happen to my company.  I was literally living what the employees at Maytag, and KB went through while working there.  I decided to go back to school, get my certificate in Travel and Tourism Specialist and get another job.  And it worked.

Even though I'm actually making less than what I did at my old job, I'm so happy.  Money doesn't buy happiness.  I work a normal schedule, no more 2nd shift, no Saturdays, and I'm not treated like a slave.   Physically and mentally I feel so much better.

I also decided to start donating plasma to get extra money.  I did it for about 2 years several years ago but had to stop due to scar tissue buildup.  At least I'll have some beer money.

As far as at this blog is concerned I will try to keep up on it as much as I can.  After I moved I hooked up my computer and discovered the motherboard is shot, so I will have to get another one installed which may be a while.  In the interim I will have to go to the library to blog and I may not get there everyday.
