Sarah Palin channels her inner Nathan Bedford Forrest on Facebook

This meme appeared on her Fecebook page last week.

Stay classy Skank.  Do you really think the rioters in Ferguson are undocumented immigrants?  You are an idiot.

Honestly I wouldn't blame President Obama if he lashed out at her.

Already the Sarah Palin Channel has stepped in it big time (satire)

From the National Report

This is satire, but don't be suprised if it really does happen

Less than five hours after the launch of The Sarah Palin Channel, the fledgling online subscription-based network has landed itself in a major controversy, after a person being interviewed by Palin herself repeatedly referred to President Barack Obama using the highly offensive “N” word.

During The Sarah Palin Channel’s launch event on Sunday evening, Palin sat down for a live “Real America” interview with George Seymour, 58, a coal miner from Bowling Green, Kentucky, as a part of what Palin had hoped would be “a series of interviews with real Americans, from real America, offering real American perspectives.”

During the thirty-minute interview, Palin asked Seymour about taxes, government regulations, and even international affairs, taking in the regular Joe’s amateur perspective on Russia’s acts of aggression toward the Ukraine and the most recent conflict between Israel and Palestine. But when she asked Seymour what he thought about Barack Obama’s presidency, the network’s first real scandal broke.

“I hate that n*,” Seymour said angrily. “I call him `N* Hitler.’ He wants to stick everyone that don’t agree with him in concentration camps [and] make us wear the mark of the beast. He’s a Muslim, gay-loving n* Hitler and there’s not a day that goes by where I don’t wish he was dead or in jail.”

Palin seemed nonplussed with regards to Seymour’s incendiary comments. “[Laughing] well George, that’s the kind of honest opinion we’re looking for here on the Sarah Palin Channel. Unedited real talk from a real American like yourself is always welcome here.”

The live interview, which originally aired at 5:30 PM EST, remained available for streaming on the site until approximately 11:20 PM EST, when it was taken down without warning or explanation.

Liberal media watchdogs Media Matters predicts the video received anywhere from 9,000 to 15,000 views before it was taken down.

The Palin Channel has thus far refused to comment on the scandal, telling National Report that the video was removed from the site due to “formatting issues.” The network has also stopped advertising the “Real America” interview series entirely, which the network had previously claimed would be aired once per week.

Sarah Palin wins biggest racist award

From Media Matters:

The Daily Show’s Senior Black Correspondent Larry Wilmore presented the 1st Annual Wilmore Awards last night to honor “outstanding achievement in breaking down racial barriers that nobody asked you to break.” On the occasion of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday, Wilmore thought it was the perfect time to “honor the progress we’ve made as black people,” especially since the NAACP Image Awards keeps nominating white people.

The NAACP Image Awards: “For giving black artists yet another chance to lose to white nominees at the very ceremony invented to honor black artists.”

The “I’m So Colorblind, I Don’t See Black People” award went to the Washington, D.C. grocery store that ran this ad welcoming Howard University students back to school:

Sarah Palin was awarded the Victim/Oppressor Role Reversal award for her MLK Day Facebook post telling President Barack Obama to stop “playing the race card.”

And Madonna took home the Best N-word Dropper for her Instagram post that called her own son “#disn*gga”:

Sarah Palin slams the president once again, refers him to the sex act Glen Rice performed on her, then uses Piper as a human shield

When she realized that "shuck and jive" wasn't the smartest thing to say, she throws Piper and Native Alaskans under the bus:

For the record, there was nothing remotely racist in my use of the phrase "shuck and jive" – a phrase which many people have used, including Chris Matthews, Andrew Cuomo, and White House Press Secretary Jay Carney to name a few off the top of my head. In fact, Andrew Cuomo also used the phrase in reference to Barack Obama, and the fact that Mr. Cuomo and I used the phrase in relation to President
Obama signifies nothing out of the ordinary. I would have used the exact same expression if I had been writing about President Carter, whose foreign policy rivaled Obama’s in its ineptitude, or about the Nixon administration, which was also famously rocked by a cover-up.

I’ve been known to use the phrase most often when chastising my daughter Piper to stop procrastinating and do her homework. As she is part Yup’ik Eskimo, I’m not sure if this term would be deemed offensive when it’s directed at her or if it would be considered benign as in the case of Chris Matthews’ use of it in reference to Rachel Maddow. Just to be careful, from now on I’ll avoid using it with Piper, and I would appreciate it if the media refrained from using words and phrases like igloo, Eskimo Pie, and “when hell freezes over,” as they might be considered offensive by my extended Alaska Native family.

The outrageously outraged reaction to this expression from perennial hypocrites like Chris Matthews has only made me laugh. Mr. Matthews, let me share with you my favorite Irish toast: “May we always be happy, and may our enemies always know it.”

- Sarah Palin

She is going to get worse until FOX News pulls the plug on her.  I have a feeling when it is time for her last appearance on FOX, she is going to drop the n-bomb.  Seriously.

Sarah why haven't you shown disgust over Ann Coulter's use of the r-word when describing the President?  Oh that's right.  IOIYAR.

Behind the Rick Perry hunting camp story

From the Washington Post

In the matter of Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) and his hunting camp with the racial slur in its name, The Post’s exclusive Oct. 2 article, written by Stephanie McCrummen, makes several points clear.

In the early part of Perry’s political career, certainly from 1985 to 1990 or 1991, and perhaps later, people saw the name “Niggerhead” painted in block letters on a big upright rock marking the entrance to the leased camp. It’s also clear that locals knew the camp by this name going way back.

Perry was a young state lawmaker in the late 1980s, and he took colleagues there to hunt on several occasions. Perry insists that the name on the rock was painted over in 1983 or 1984, before he was elected and before the hunting excursions.

If the seven sources The Post relied on for this article are truthful, then Perry is lying or is badly misinformed about when the rock was painted.

The article also paints a complete and fair portrait of life in rural West Texas during Perry’s younger years, with the area’s legacy of segregation, where attitudes about race were slow to change and African Americans were a small slice of the population. In this particular time and place, the name for the camp was taken for granted, and people didn’t read too much into it.

The article does not declare Perry a racist or present the Texans interviewed as ignorant rubes. McCrummen was originally assigned to write a profile of Paint Creek, Perry’s home town. She learned of the name of the camp and the rock only after spending considerable time there. In one long interview with a local, the hunting camp and its name came up.

She then interviewed more people to corroborate that resident’s recollection. Of the seven who confirmed the rock and the time period, some were Perry fans and some were detractors, as the story makes clear.

I wish more of the seven people upon whom The Post relied were named; only one is. But these are memories going back 20-plus years. Perry’s family still lives there, and he is still the governor; you can see why people might not want to put their names to those recollections. Post editors say they have the names and backgrounds of the sources, and they judge them to be credible.

One of the sources, a person from Dallas who visited the camp in 1990 or 1991, remembered the sign vividly: “It was so blatant, so in your face,” the source said.

So what do we conclude from all of this?

I think it means that, at the very least, Perry was insensitive during a time when he carried the public trust of an elected official.

I covered the Maryland General Assembly during this same period, in the late 1980s. Maryland is not Texas, but it had then, as now, many conservative rural lawmakers — from the lower Eastern Shore andSouthern and Western Maryland — some of them Democrats, some Republicans. If it had come out in the late 1980s that a lawmaker was taking colleagues to a duck hunting property off the Chesapeake Bay or a deer hunting camp in Western Maryland with that offensive name, the story would have made both The Post and the Baltimore Sun.

According to my count, using the online Legislative Reference Library of Texas, about 20 African American lawmakers were serving alongside Perry in the Texas legislature of the late 1980s. And Perry was taking colleagues down to a hunting camp with that unfortunate name.

That’s at the very least insensitive, and probably offensive. And if Perry is lying about the sign, that’s something voters should know as well.

I think it’s also important to note how the Perry campaign handled this article. Before it was published, McCrummen and Post editors traded two rounds of questions and answers with the Perry campaign. As Post National Editor Kevin Merida put it, “We submitted detailed written questions to the Perry campaign and included in our story all of the points Governor Perry wished to make.”

After the article was published, the Perry camp put out a carefully worded statement reiterating its point that the rock was painted over in the early 1980s and stating: “A number of claims made in the story are incorrect, inconsistent, and anonymous.” Anonymous, yes, but incorrect how and inconsistent how?

Since the article ran, no one from the Perry camp has contacted The Post to request a correction or dispute specific points made in the article. Politico also asked the Perry camp to detail its objections to The Post article. Perry officials said no.

It makes you wonder.

African American college students kicked out of their dorm rooms to make room for Sarah Palin

From WSET.com

Lynchburg, VA - Students at The Virginia University of Lynchburg say they're not sure who they should blame for making them move out of their dorm rooms.

VUL students have been living in two local motels that have been converted into dorms. But those motels are all booked next Thursday, Friday and Saturday because visitors are coming to see Sarah Palin at the Liberty University Women's Conference. Now, the students have to get out.

Antwan Jenkins, an LU student staying at the Travel Lodge, says it's just not fair he has to repack all of his stuff, along with his pet lizard, just when he finally got his room the way he likes it.

"Yeah we have to get everything up out of here, like we're going home for good," said Jenkins.

University officials say it's been the plan since the students first moved in.

"Sarah Palin is coming to town and those arrangements had been made long before we began to use the motels for students," said Dr. Ralph Reavis, the VUL president.

Carlos Bodre, who's here from NYV, says it caught him off guard this week. He says it will cost him $250 for a train home to New York.

"I ain't got a job so I ain't even got that money so I have to call my parents and let them know that they got to pay," said Bodre.

Jasmin Coley, who lives at Travel Lodge, is planning for her mom to come get her from Washington, D.C.

"It cost her a $100 to get here, which means coming and going and then bringing me back and then going back is $400 that we don't have. We're not rich," said Coley.

Dr. Reaves says anyone unable to make it home will be given a temporary room.

""Well he's told you that but he hasn't told any of us that, and I think that we should know before anyone else because we're the ones affected," said Coley.

The students say all the added stress is too much to take on top of all their coursework.

The owner at the Travel Lodge says he still has room to house 56 students during the women's conference next week. He's already offered those rooms to VUL.

Why am I not surprised? Guess Sarah didn't want to be accused of having sex with black men during her stay in Lynchburg. Oh and I love the name of the town, Lynchburg. Not!
