Sarah Palin endorses another crook

Just like Sarah he can't answer a question

Just play along ... A debate hosted by Ketelaar Accounting and attended by hundreds of voters and four of the six candidates got rowdy Thursday night after candidate Doug Ducey refused to answer a curve-ball question: If President Obama issued an executive order stating it's illegal to vote for yourself, who in the race would you vote for?

Christine Jones gave her vote to Ken Bennett. Bennett gave his to Scott Smith. But Ducey refused to answer the question and got two sustained boos and shouts.

Frank Riggs, too, refused to answer, saying he doesn't do hypotheticals. But he redeemed himself with the crowd after saying he supports candidates with "ethics and integrity."

Jones won the group's straw poll, earning 43 percent of the vote.

Promises, promises ... Candidates love a good campaign promise, and a favorite among conservatives is to promise to give back all or part of your public salary. But Legislative District 13 Senate Republican candidate Toby Farmer is taking the promise to a new level. He is promising to donate his entire annual $24,000 legislative salary to teachers, if elected.

"As the son of two public school teachers, I know what these teachers go through," Farmer said in a statement. "They're underpaid, underappreciated, and it seems like they are receiving less support from the Legislature every year."
Insider wonders if the move was a jab at opponent Sen. Don Shooter, R-Yuma, who last year faced misdemeanor charges and accepted a plea deal after barging into his grandson's Yuma high-school classroom and confronting the boy's teacher.

Yep when confronted with a tough question Doug runs and hides.

Could Sarah Palin run for AZ governor?

This article is from three years ago but worth repeating:

From Biz Journals.

Sarah Palin’s apparent purchase of a home in North Scottsdale has fueled plenty of speculation she will run for president in 2012 and base her campaign out of Arizona. Palin’s also going on bus tour that is almost certain to include a stop in New Hampshire (an early presidential primary battleground). There’s also talk that Palin could come to Arizona and run for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by the retiring Jon Kyl.

But Arizona political commentator Anna Johnson has come up with a third option: Palin running for Arizona governor in 2014.

Johnson’s idea has some merit save for the fact Palin would have to live in the state for five years before being able to run. But Palin may be looking for a way to stay relevant nationally while not running for the White House next year.

The main quandary for Palin is whether she’s willing to give up an estimated $20 million a year in pay she gets for books, Fox News analysis, speaking gigs and other appearances, and whether she can win a run for the White House this go around.

Palin has big negatives not only for Democrats, but also some in the Republican Party. There’s a crowded Republican primary field, and right now Obama has a decent enough chance at reelection as long as the economy doesn’t stumble again and voters remember the Pakistan raid that got Osama bin Laden.

Palin would be formidable in a Senate race here in Arizona, and it could show voters a more serious public policy side of her rather than the conservative celebrity side she showcases now.

Palin could want to keep her celebrity status, and set herself up for a 2016 presidential run if Obama wins in 2012 and is then term-limited.

Palin could use an Arizona base also take over from Gov. Jan Brewer as a chief conservative needler of Obama on immigration, Medicaid and mandates. That would keep her in the spotlight -- which is good for Sarah Palin “Inc.” and a 2016 White House run.

Of course, if she really wanted the highest-profile job in the state, she could ask Joe Arpaio if he’s running for sheriff again.

I don't think she will.  Too much baggage and it would give credence to the comment that she told John McCain she didn't want to return to Alaska.

This is how one of Sarah Palin's endorsees treats the President of the United States

From MSNBC.com

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer and President Barack Obama engaged in an apparently tense exchange on an airport tarmac shortly after Air Force One touched down outside Phoenix on Wednesday.

The two leaders could be seen talking intently at the base of Air Force One's steps. Both could be seen smiling, but speaking at the same time.

Obama appeared to walk away from the Republican governor while they were still talking, according to a White House pool reporter. Brewer confirmed that by saying she didn't finish her sentence.

Asked moments later what the conversation was about, Brewer said: "He was a little disturbed about my book."

On a Phoenix radio talk show after their meeting, Brewer said Obama was "tense."

Brewer recently published a book, "Scorpions for Breakfast," something of a memoir of her years growing up and defends her signing of Arizona's controversial law cracking down on illegal immigrants, which Obama opposes.

Obama was objecting to Brewer's description of a meeting he and Brewer had at the White House, where she described Obama as lecturing her. In an interview in November Brewer described two tense meetings. The first took place before his commencement address at Arizona State University. "He did blow me off at ASU," she said in the television interview in November.

In a statement after the meeting, Brewer didn't mention the airport conversation, and would only say that she discussed economic issues with Obama in a brief meeting.

"Don't be mistaken, I'm bullish on our nation's future," Brewer said in a statement issued later. "But I'm convinced the path the president has pursued is the wrong one. I hope he takes some of the lessons of Arizona back with him to Washington."

On the tarmac Wednesday, Brewer handed Obama an envelope with a handwritten invitation to return to Arizona to meet her for lunch and to join her for a visit to the border.

"I said to him, you know, I have always respected the office of the president and that the book is what the book is," she told reporters Wednesday. She said Obama complained that she described him as not treating her cordially.

"I said that I was sorry that he felt that way. Anyway, we're glad he's here, and we'll regroup."

A White House official said Brewer handed Obama a letter and said she was inviting him to meet with her. The official said Obama told her he would be glad to meet with her again. The official said Obama told her that in her book she inaccurately described their last meeting, which the official described as a cordial discussion in the Oval Office. The official spoke on condition of anonymity to describe a private conversation between the president and the governor.

I have to admit if I ever ran into Dumbya Bush or Sarah Palin I would probably act the same way Jan Brewer did to President Obama. However like Dumbya and Sarah, Jan is a proven liar with a substance abuse problem.

Jan has been busted about her allegations that headless corpses were found along the border, and that her father died while fighting the Nazis during World War, (he died in 1955, ten years after the war ended). If she'll lie about her father's death, she'll lie about anything, just like a certain ex-Governor and her youngest son's birth.

Sarah also wrote the forward to Jan's book Scorpions for Breakfast.

Sarah you are who you roll with and you roll with Jan Brewer. Take a look at Jan, that's what you are going to look like in ten years.

I need to give a shout out to GinaM who commented on Immoral Minority that Jan's name should be Gov Burntface. I love it!

Reason #51 not vote for Sarah Palin for anything

She endorsed fellow Republican Governor and idiot Jan Brewer

Jan signed into law SB 1070 which encourages racial profiling.  If you are in Arizona and look brown, the cops will ask you for  your documentation, even if you are a 5th generation American.

Jan is also very pro-gun and anti-abortion, just like Sarah.  She signed into law a bill that would allow gun owners to carry guns into bars providing there is no signs saying you can't.

Here are the two BFF's together, scary shit!
