In the 2002 Ak Gubernatorial race Sarah ran for Lt. Gov but lost, she then campaigned and endorsed Sen. Frank Murkowski who was running for governor. Frank is a well know corrupt bastard in AK. Frank won the race and named his daughter Lisa to fill his Senate seat, much to Sarah's chagrin. He also bought a jet for his personal and business use at the expense of the AK taxpayer.
